Governance

Ensuring democracy is one of our goals. We are a Foundation that experiences the strengthening of democracy even in our organizational structure and composition.

The president, with the support of the Board, has the main care and responsibility for the proper and good management of the Foundation and compliance with the purposes of the International Open Knowledge Foundation. All of us who participate in the official Greek chapter have a special responsibility to support and implement actions to achieve the purposes of the International Open Knowledge Foundation.

The Foundation's activities are largely implemented by volunteers who support our purposes. Our volunteers come from various communities of society:

According to our organizational procedures, for each activity, action or funded project, a responsible person is appointed who has the general supervision of an action.

It is worth noting that all participants have undertaken the implementation of some action, a particularly important feature, as opportunities are given to all of us to support the Foundation's actions from different positions.
